Jakarta. Yayasan Amanah Bangun Negeri (YABN), in collaboration with Yayasan Pelayanan Kasih A & A Rachmat (YPKAAR), has reaffirmed its commitment to education by distributing 4,560 school supply packages to elementary students in need across Maluku.

The aid targets students in Ambon, Langgur, as well as Kei Besar and Kei Kecil, covering 48 elementary schools and several orphanages.

The distribution was carried out directly by YABN Treasurer Susanti and YPKAAR Vice Chair Josephine Rahardjo at SD Naskat Ohoidertutu and SD Naskat Ohoidetom in Kei Kecil on April 14, 2026.

YABN Treasurer Susanti said, “Living in a village with limited facilities is not a barrier to achieving success, as long as it is accompanied by strong determination and sincere prayers. You must all have the spirit and commitment to study harder and develop a love for reading. We hope this school supply assistance will give children the hope to continue their education and achieve their dreams.”

Josephine Rahardjo added, “The provision of these school supplies is not only to meet learning needs, but also to foster a renewed spirit among students to continue achieving.”

Beyond Maluku, the program will also expand to Makassar and Boyolali, Central Java, between May and October 2026.

The initiative builds on last year’s outreach, during which YABN and YPKAAR distributed 9,085 school supply packages to elementary students in So’E, Ruteng, and Maumere in East Nusa Tenggara, as well as Banyuwangi, East Java.

The continued effort reflects both foundations’ commitment to supporting Indonesia’s education sector, with the aim of encouraging students to stay in school and pursue their aspirations.
