Jakarta. The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has disclosed that 14,072 state officials have yet to submit their wealth reports (LHKPN), despite the deadline passing.

"The deadline for submitting periodic LHKPN reports for 2023 was on March 31. As of April 3, the KPK noted that 14,072 state officials have not yet reported their wealth," said KPK Spokesperson Ipi Maryati on Thursday.

Out of the total 406,844 officials nationwide for the 2023 reporting period, the KPK has received 392,772 wealth reports, accounting for 96.54 percent. "This marks a decrease of 0.46 percent compared to the 2022 reports, which stood at 97 percent,"  Ipi said.

Ipi emphasized the importance of state officials promptly submitting their latest LHKPN reports to the KPK, assuring that reports submitted after the deadline would still be accepted, albeit labeled as 'late reporting.'

"The KPK urges officials who have not submitted their LHKPN to fulfill their reporting obligations. Reports submitted after the deadline will still be accepted by the KPK, but they will be noted as 'late reporting'," said Ipi.

As many as 9,111 out of 323,651 state officials in the executive branch (both central and regional) have not submitted their reports, while 97.18 percent have done so.

In the legislative branch, 4,046 out of 20,002 officials have yet to submit their reports, with a reporting rate of 79.77 percent. Similarly, 175 out of 18,405 officials in the judiciary have not submitted their reports, but 99.05 percent have complied.

Furthermore, 740 out of 44,786 state-owned and regional enterprises officials have not submitted their reports, whereas 98.35 percent have already done so.
