Sandiaga Uno Calls on Bogor Officials to Ready for Puncak Gridlock
Bogor. Tourism and Creative Economy Minister Sandiaga Uno anticipates a surge in tourist traffic along the Puncak route in Bogor Regency, West Java, during the Eid holidays. He has urged the Bogor administration and relevant agencies to brace for potential congestion.
During his visit to the Integrated Traffic Operation Post of the Bogor Police in Gadog on Monday, the Minister highlighted the expected influx of travelers. "The estimated number of people traveling through the Puncak route during the homecoming season and Eid holidays this year is between 140,000 to 160,000. He commended the collaborative efforts between the Acting Regent of Bogor Regency and relevant agencies in ensuring preparedness.
Expressing gratitude for the collective effort in facilitating safe and comfortable travel experiences during this year's homecoming and Eid holidays, the Minister extended appreciation to the Indonesian Military, National Police, National Search and Rescue Agency, Health Department, and all involved parties coordinated by the Acting Regent of Bogor Regency.
