Royal Box Tickets for MotoGP Mandalika 2025 Nearly Sold Out
Lombok. Royal Box tickets for the 2025 MotoGP Mandalika, scheduled to take place on October 3–5, are almost sold out. Moreover, the high enthusiasm for the 2025 Mandalika MotoGP has also impacted hotel availability around the Mandalika Circuit area in Central Lombok.
Chairman of MotoGP Mandalika, Troy Reza Warokka, said that Royal Box tickets are among the most sought-after categories, both by local spectators and special guests.
“As for ticket prices, I think they are quite good, and ticket movement numbers are very positive. However, most importantly, Royal Box tickets are almost gone. Usually, Indonesians, based on past experiences, tend to buy closer to the event date,” Troy said on Sunday.
As of mid-September, demand for Royal Box tickets for MotoGP Mandalika 2025 continues to pour in, even though the quota is very limited.
“What deserves appreciation is that our Royal Box tickets are now extremely scarce. There is still significant demand up to today,” he added.
According to him, the surge in spectator interest has also affected hotel occupancy rates in the surrounding areas. Most hotels in Mandalika and nearby regions are already fully booked. Many spectators are now looking for accommodations in Mataram City and even in other parts of Lombok.
“Hotels around Mandalika are already full, and it’s very difficult to get rooms. I hope spectators can move to Mataram, because it was the same last year. Now people are even booking villas,” he explained.
This condition has forced some spectators to seek alternative lodging farther away, including renting homestays from local residents through online platforms.
Apart from accommodation, access to Lombok itself has also become a challenge. According to Troy, the surge in passengers ahead of MotoGP has made it increasingly difficult to secure flight tickets to Lombok.
“The impact of MotoGP is also felt in transportation. Plane tickets are very hard to get. I heard from a friend that some even had to go to Surabaya first before flying to Lombok from Jakarta. That’s how difficult access has become,” he revealed.
It is known that Royal Box tickets for MotoGP 2025 are priced at up to IDR 35 million. However, ticket holders will enjoy a range of premium experiences while watching the 2025 MotoGP.
One of the highlights is an exclusive opportunity to attend a Meet & Greet session with the eight-time world champion legend, Marc Márquez. This special event will be held on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at the tallest building in Jakarta, which is also the tallest in the Southern Hemisphere.
VIP participants will have a special private session to meet and interact directly with the rider nicknamed “Baby Alien.” Moreover, during the main event, Royal Box ticket holders will enjoy the most strategic viewing positions at the Pertamina Mandalika International Circuit.
Troy expressed hope that the 2025 MotoGP event will gain attention from airlines and the government to ensure smooth travel for spectators from across Indonesia and abroad.
Despite the challenges in accommodation and transportation, Troy remains optimistic that the 2025 Mandalika MotoGP will be festive while boosting the economy of West Nusa Tenggara (NTB).
“From an economic perspective, this certainly brings positive impacts. Local communities will benefit from tourist visits, ranging from hotels, villas, and transportation to MSMEs. We hope everything goes smoothly until race day,” he concluded.
The 2025 MotoGP Mandalika is scheduled to take place over three days, October 3–5, 2025, including practice sessions, qualifying, and the main race.
