Jakarta. The Jakarta Globe’s relaunch earned congratulatory wishes from senior government officials and diplomats.

The Jakarta Globe --the English publication of B-Universe Media Holdings-- unveiled a new logo and website design. National Development Planning Minister Suharso Monoarfa said he hoped The Jakarta Globe could inform international readers about what is happening in Indonesia.

“Hopefully, The Jakarta Globe can bring a meaningful perspective to its readers, be it in Indonesia or abroad,” Suharso told reporters not long after launching The Jakarta Globe’s new logo in Jakarta on Monday.

Deputy Finance Minister Suahasil Nazara also congratulated the refreshed Jakarta Globe.

“We hope that The Jakarta Globe can cover Indonesia in a comprehensive manner, be it its development, financial sector, social affairs, and so on,” Suahasil said.

The relaunch took place at the 2025 Economic Perspective forum. As the name suggests, the forum seeks to give its audience a picture of the country’s fiscal policies in 2025 -- which will be President-Elect Prabowo Subianto’s first year in office. Juan Pablo Valders, the political counselor at the Canadian Embassy in Jakarta, said that such a forum could help provide diplomatic missions like himself a better understanding of where Indonesia is going.

“Congratulations The Jakarta Globe on its relaunch. I think this [relaunch] is going to be something very welcomed,” Valders said.

Aside from The Jakarta Globe, B-Universe houses Beritasatu.com, Investor.id, Investor Daily, BTV, and IDTV. B-Universe also works alongside local, sub-national news outlets under B Network. Earlier this year, B-Universe also launched its partnership with media company Disway. B-Universe not long ago had also partnered with entertainment giant Rans Entertainment.
