2024 Election: B Universe Executive Chairman Praises KPU, Poll Workers
Jakarta. Enggartiasto Lukita, the executive chairman of B Universe Media Holdings, on Wednesday praised the General Election Commission (KPU) for their hard work on the 2024 election.
The former trade minister thanked the poll workers for making sure that the election process was smooth-sailing. The same goes for the military and police officers who were on duty to ensure a peaceful election.
“Everyone was able to exercise their right to vote comfortably. We would like to thank KPU and the poll workers who have prepared everything. Despite the rain, they have done a great job. That is something praiseworthy,” Enggartiasto told reporters shortly after casting his vote at a polling station in Selong, Kebayoran Baru.
About 214 voters cast their ballots at the polling station. Artist and lawmaker Guruh Soekarnoputra also came to this polling booth. This voting site is also close to that of Tourism Minister Sandiaga Uno and Health Minister Budi Gunadi Sadikin.
B-Universe oversees various publications including the news and entertainment television network BTV, the business news channel IDTV, the business newspaper Investor Daily, the market research magazine Majalah Investor, the business website Investor.id, the English news website Jakarta Globe, and the general news website Beritasatu.com.
