Jakarta. The Jakarta Eagle Chapter of the Harley Davidson Owner Group (HOG) held a special general meeting to elect directors and vice directors for the term 2024-2027 at the El Royal Hotel in Jakarta on Sunday. Suherli was re-elected as the director of the HOG Jakarta Eagle Chapter through acclamation, while Budi Nugraha was appointed as the assistant director.

Approximately 80 active members participated in the meeting, engaging in various activities organized by the HOG Jakarta Eagle Chapter.

The re-elected director, Suherli, outlined three crucial agendas, namely touring, gathering, and charity, which will continue to be the main pillars of the HOG Jakarta Eagle Chapter.

"There are no significant changes planned compared to the previous term. We have three pillars of activities, so perhaps in the tours, for example, we will prioritize the comfort and safety of the participants. Additionally, we aim for more attractive destinations than before," Suherli said.

Suherli highlighted the upcoming significant event, the 4th official tour of the HOG Jakarta Eagle Chapter, scheduled to take place soon in Bali. "The number of participants will be much higher," Suherli added. Last year's tour was participated by 100 members.

Suherli mentioned that touring typically involves charity activities, providing humanitarian aid to the local community. These activities are also conducted in response to natural disasters or events requiring humanitarian assistance.

"We want the community to know that these large motorcycles are not always perceived negatively, but we also engage in positive actions to help our fellow citizens," he said.

Looking ahead, Suherli is committed to improving the community and setting an example for other motorcycle communities.

"Our hope is to become more united and cohesive. We aspire to be one of the prominent motorcycle communities that serve as a role model and example for other large motorcycle communities," Suherli said.
