Jakarta. Celebrating his 36th birthday, DJ Angger Dimas found himself reflecting on cherished moments spent with his son, Raden Andante "Dante" Khalif Pramudityo. Unfortunately, Dante's life was reportedly cut short by Yudha Arfandi, the former boyfriend of Dante's mother, actress Tamara Tyasmara, who happens to be Angger's ex-wife.

"I have lost my appetite for music. I can't think, I don't know what to do. He is my reason for living," shared DJ Angger Dimas --recognized for collaborations with international DJs such as Steve Aoki, Laidback Luke, and Nervo-- during an interview with the Jakarta Globe on Friday.

Instead of a celebration, Angger's birthday was marked by a somber gathering with five close friends. They gathered at his music studio in Cipete, South Jakarta, sharing burgers and a birthday cake. The subdued atmosphere followed the reconstruction of Dante's case at Tirtamas Water Park pool in Pondok Kelapa, East Jakarta, earlier that week. The incident unfolded while Dante was under the care of Tamara and Yudha.

After witnessing the reconstruction, Angger expressed disbelief and shock at the alleged actions of Yudha, claiming that he drowned Dante 12 times, purportedly for "respiratory training."

"I was sick to my stomach; I wanted to vomit," Angger recalled the distressing moment of watching the reconstruction.

While Angger struggles to comprehend the motive behind Yudha's actions, he expresses his hope that the police investigation will uncover the truth.

"At the moment, I am not pressing any charges. I trust the police to carry out the investigation," he said.

Police Suspect Premeditated Murder in Dante's Death
Police are investigating the possibility of premeditated murder in Dante's case. This suspicion arises from Yudha Arfandi's actions, browsing the internet for the locations of CCTV at the crime scene before Dante's tragic demise on Jan. 26.

Even though Yudha denies it, the police have conducted a digital analysis that proves otherwise.

"This we can prove with the results of the digital analysis, where in the 13th scene (of the reconstruction) at 3:11 p.m. on the day of the incident, the suspect, YA, was browsing for the swimming pool's CCTV location on his mobile phone," said Commissioner Wira Satya Triputra, the Director of General Crime at Jakarta Metropolitan Police, on Wednesday.

Therefore, Wira said the investigative team is currently considering applying Article 340 of the Criminal Code regarding premeditated murder,  which carries the maximum penalty of either life imprisonment or the death penalty.

The Jakarta Police is set to collaborate with several experts to investigate the case. One of these experts includes a polygraph examiner or a specialist skilled in detecting deception. In addition to the polygraph expert, the police are also enlisting the expertise of criminal specialists and forensic psychologists. "Several experts collaborating with the investigators include cyber experts, experts in body language, and individuals with swimming certifications," he said.

Reminiscing Dante
Reminiscing about Dante, Angger shared that last year, he couldn't celebrate his birthday with Dante due to custody battles with Tamara. Dante had been living with his mother since the couple's divorce in 2021.

"Things could have been different today if I got the custody, but this is God's fate," he said.

"Last year I was sad because I couldn't celebrate my birthday with Dante, but this year it's even worse now that he's gone forever," he added.

A month before Dante's passing, Angger bought a cellphone for him, and the father and son used it to exchange voice notes, play Roblox together, and occasionally film Angger while playing the guitar.

"I miss his voice, his scent, and how he used to kiss me," Angger said as he played Dante's last voice note, "When are you going to pick me up, Daddy?"

On his birthday, Angger expressed a desire for a life partner and another child. "I don't mean to replace Dante, but I still want another child, and I want to do something for children who are victims of abuse," he said.

Meanwhile, Tamara took time to visit her son's grave before attending the reconstruction of the alleged murder case.
