KFC Indonesia Returns to Profit in Q1 2026
Jakarta. Fast Food Indonesia, the operator of the KFC restaurant chain in Indonesia, reported a net profit of Rp 13.28 billion ($745,500) in the first quarter of 2026, reversing from a loss of Rp 36.77 billion in the same period last year.
The improved performance was supported by an 18.59% increase in revenue to Rp 1.42 trillion, up from Rp 1.19 trillion in the first quarter of 2025.
Revenue growth was driven by stronger sales across several key regions. In Jakarta, KFC sales rose 14% to Rp 498 billion, while revenue in Medan surged 33.36% to Rp 106 billion.
As of March 2026, Fast Food Indonesia reported total assets of Rp 5.19 trillion ($291.3 million), compared with Rp 4.94 trillion at the end of 2025.
However, the company’s liabilities also increased to Rp 4.72 trillion from Rp 4.51 trillion in December 2025.
Despite the first-quarter recovery, KFC Indonesia recorded a net loss of Rp 369 billion for the full 2025 financial year.
The company is controlled by Gelael Pratama, which holds a 41.04% stake, followed by Indoritel Makmur Internasional with 37.51%, while public shareholders own 21.38% of the company.
