KFC Indonesia Revenue Rises 16%, Operating Loss Narrows to Rp 32 Billion
Jakarta. PT Fast Food Indonesia, the operator of KFC restaurants in Indonesia, reported a 16.09% year-on-year increase in revenue to Rp 2.79 trillion ($156 million) in the first half of 2026, although the company remained in the red at the operating level.
The company posted an operating loss of Rp 32.42 billion during the six-month period, narrowing by 77.35% from Rp 143.18 billion a year earlier, according to a public disclosure released on Thursday.
Despite stronger revenue, Fast Food Indonesia said its performance continued to face pressure from rising raw material costs, particularly during the second quarter.
Company Director Dio May Avico attributed the improved first-half performance to efficiency measures and business transformation programs implemented by the company.
"The company will continue to take a measured and responsive approach to changing market conditions, ensuring that every business decision remains consumer-oriented while supporting sustainable performance," Dio said.
Fast Food Indonesia said it would continue pursuing its efficiency and transformation initiatives as it seeks to sustain revenue growth and improve profitability.
