Humpuss Maritim Appoints Former Garuda Indonesia Chief as President Director
Jakarta. Energy transportation and maritime infrastructure services provider Humpuss Maritim Internasional has reshuffled its board of directors and commissioners following approval at an Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (EGMS) held at Mangkuluhur City Tower One, Jakarta, on Wednesday.
A key decision from the EGMS was the appointment of I Gusti Ngurah Askhara Danadiputra, widely known as Ari Askhara, as president director, replacing Tirta Hidayat. Ari previously served as the president director of Garuda Indonesia.
The newly approved management lineup is as follows:
- Mahdan — President commissioner and independent commissioner, replacing AR Sofyan.
- Dedi Hudayana — Commissioner, replacing Daryono.
- I Gusti Ngurah Askhara Danadiputra — President director, replacing Tirta Hidayat.
- Indra Yurana Sugiarto — Director, replacing Dedi Hudayana.
Ari said the company will focus on achieving healthy revenue growth through group synergies, fleet development, and sustainable business diversification, anchored in integrated national maritime and energy logistics.
He also underscored the need to redefine operational cost efficiency as well as funding and financial management, while continuing to prioritize safety and service quality for customers.
“To support these priorities, the company will continue to enhance the quality of its human resources as business partners within the broader HUMI group,” Ari said in an official statement on Thursday.
The new management also reaffirmed the company’s commitment to implementing good corporate governance (GCG) principles and integrating environmental, social, and governance (ESG) considerations as part of its long-term business strategy.
