State utility company Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN) is forming partnerships to launch its Flagship Energy Storage and Charging Station program. The program is part of the government's effort to kickstart the domestic charging station industry as mandated by a 2019 presidential regulation. On Wednesday, PLN's acting president director Sripeni Inten Cahyani and the president director of BMW Group Indonesia, Ramesh Divyanathan, demonstrated the charging station using a BMW i3S electric car at the BPPT building in Jakarta.
