Sizzling Hotspot Offers Halal Shabu-Shabu, Grill in Supermal Karawaci
Jakarta. Hotpot giant Haidilao Group has opened Sizzling Hotspot at Supermal Karawaci, a popular shopping center in Tangerang.
This is the company's first halal brand. The Sizzling Hotspot seeks to combine the warmth of shabu-shabu and the deliciousness of grilled food at one table — offering a more casual, affordable, and fully halal-certified "Sizzling" experience.
According to Sizzling Hotspot Brand Manager Lidya, Supermal Karawaci is a dynamic lifestyle hub that serves as a melting pot for various groups in Tangerang and the surrounding areas.
"This location is very strategic and vibrant. Through Sizzling Hotspot, we want to offer a high-quality shabu and grill dining experience with satisfying yet private service for customers. With more affordable prices and a 100% halal concept, we are confident we can reach a wider market of families and foodies," Lidya was quoted as saying in a press statement.
Sizzling Hotspot's highlights lie in the rich selection of soups, which incorporate Indonesian flavors, such as Mala Sumsum, Rendang, and Laksa. Some of the most popular dishes include the Mala Sumsum Soup, which offers a creamy and savory texture, and the Rendang Soup, which has been adapted to suit local tastes — providing a strong spicy sensation yet remaining comfortable to eat. Not to be missed are premium beef options like the Oyster Blade, pan-seared with a blend of Indonesian red and green chili sauce.
"We also have a Sauce Bar so guests can customize their own dipping sauces, and a sweet and refreshing Snow Ice dessert menu is a complement rarely found in similar restaurants," Sizzling Hotspot Manager Hasan Fajri said.
During the Grand Opening period, customers can enjoy various attractive promotions, from special discounts and free menu options to complimentary services like a children's play area and manicures.
Sizzling Hotspot Supermal Karawaci is open daily from 10 a.m. to 2 a.m. local time.
