New Capital Nusantara Breaks Ground on Astra Biz Center
Jakarta. President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo launched on Tuesday the Astra Biz Center at the new capital Nusantara.
This business center aligns with Nusantara’s forest city concept by embracing a balance between urban development and environmental protection
"Astra Biz Center-IKN proves Astra's contribution to building Nusantara as a sustainable forest city and a livable and lovable city,” Astra’s director Rudy said.
The center is also part of Astra Group’s contribution to advance business centers and encourage local economic growth.
Built on an area of 3.4 hectares, the Astra Biz Center-IKN is an integrated, integrated complex with a one-stop service concept as a service center for 11 brands from Astra Group companies, including Astra Motor, Auto2000, Astra Daihatsu, FIFGROUP, Astra Insurance, ACC, TAF, United Tractors, ASTRA Infra, SERA, and Astra Property.
The Astra Biz Center-IKN will prioritize meeting customer needs and providing convenience to the public with Astra's four-wheeler and two-wheeler products which are equipped with various supporting services.
With a two-story green building design concept, the Astra Biz Center-IKN is designed to be equipped with natural lighting, environmentally friendly materials, and energy-saving equipment that pays attention to sustainability and environmental aspects that maximize the combination of greenery. Astra Biz Center-IKN also focuses on pedestrian-oriented design, which prioritizes pedestrian comfort with a futuristic, inclusive design, adapting to the concept of the city of the future.
Astra Biz Center-IKN will be the third Astra Biz Center in Indonesia. Its two predecessors are in Bandung and South Tangerang.
To support the new capital’s education sector, the Astra Education Foundation – Michael D. Ruslim is also revitalizing the 020 Sepaku State Elementary School, in North Penajam Paser. Astra is also building 11 elementary schools and 2 vocational schools in the Nusantara area.
As part of the Nusantara Consortium, Astra also takes part in the construction of the Nusantara Botanical Garden.
The company’s efforts portray Astra’s commitment to “prosper together with the nation” and support Indonesia’s sustainable development goals (SDGs).
