MCorp, Antam Unveil Jakarta Marketing Week With Global City Theme
Jakarta. MCorp on Wednesday announced plans to stage Jakarta Marketing Week 2026 (JAKMW 2026) under the theme “Jakarta, The Global City: Inclusive, Creative, & Collaboration.”
The five-day event will run from May 6 to May 10, 2026, and aims to attract more than 400,000 visitors from multiple generations as part of efforts to accelerate Jakarta’s transformation into a global city.
Speaking at a press conference at MarkPlus Main Campus, MCorp Founder Hermawan Kartajaya said Jakarta’s identity as a global city must be rooted in inclusive diversity.
He said the city’s ethnic, religious, and cultural diversity should be seen as one of its greatest strengths.
“The main principle of a global city is that no one should feel left behind, and no one should feel privileged above others. Jakarta must become a city that is inclusive, creative, and grows through cross-sector collaboration,” Hermawan said.
He stressed the importance of strategic cooperation between cities worldwide, including sister-city partnerships such as Jakarta’s ties with Shenzhen, to strengthen economic connectivity and innovation.
According to Hermawan, leadership that can work effectively while remaining aligned with the central government is key to accelerating infrastructure development and economic diplomacy.
Corporate and Institutional Partners
JAKMW 2026 has named state-owned gold producer and distributor Aneka Tambang (Antam) as the title partner.
Adityo Kusumowardhono said the company aims to expand access to investment opportunities through an integrated gold ecosystem spanning from mining operations to end consumers, while strengthening connectivity with global markets.
“With this integrated ecosystem, the public will have greater opportunities to participate in globally connected investment markets,” he said.
Antam will also launch a Goldfluencer program, inviting content creators to explore gold investment in a more creative and educational format.
PAM JAYA Vice President of Commercial & Marketing Irene Putri said access to safe drinking water remains a critical indicator of quality of life in a global city.
“A global city is not only about infrastructure, but also about the quality of life of its people. Safe drinking water is one of the essential requirements, and we continue to innovate to ensure that standard,” Irene said.
Toll road operator Jasa Marga will showcase Travoy, a dedicated application designed as a digital travel assistant featuring real-time traffic monitoring and travel information tools, according to Corporate Communication official Lisye Octaviana.
Lisye said the use of data and technology is expected to help users plan journeys more efficiently while improving comfort and safety on toll roads.
Another participant, LSPR Institute of Communication and Business, will host a Performing Arts Communication class as a platform for exploring communication through performing arts.
Public transport operator TransJakarta will organize an inter-university competition during the event.
“Through the TransJakarta MX Case Competition, we invite students to present innovative ideas to improve public service experiences and optimize assets,” said Retyan Anggriya Murti.
The competition will challenge students to design innovative public transportation solutions based on human-centered experience.
Ismaya Group will join as food and beverage partner.
JAKMW 2026 will combine conferences, competitions, and creative performances in a collaborative platform. Throughout the five-day event, visitors will be offered inspirational sessions featuring industry practitioners, government officials, and creative communities discussing Jakarta’s transformation into a global city.
Live music performances are also planned, including a closing show by G-Pluck Beatles Band, performing authentic arrangements of songs by The Beatles.
