Jakarta.  ÉL Hotel Jakarta in Kelapa Gading recently partnered with RheCharge to set up charging stations for electric vehicles (EVs).

The EV charging stations are now available at ÉL Hotel Jakarta's main parking lot. The station comes equipped with a 22kW AC unit that is compatible with various types of EVs. It also comes with a modern security system. The RheCharge app also has an easy-to-use user interface.

"We want to make it easy for EV users to enjoy their stay and relax at ÉL Hotel Jakarta without worrying about their vehicle's battery. This is our small step towards a greener future," ÉL Hotel Jakarta's general manager Lenni Apriyanti said.

As their vehicles get charged, guests can comfortably enjoy their time inside the hotel. They can also relax in the Ruby Lounge while enjoying a refreshing drink, or enjoy Indonesian and international dishes at Sapphire Restaurant.

The new facility reflects ÉL Hotel Jakarta's commitment to becoming an EV-friendly hotel in the Kelapa Gading area as it promotes #HospitalityMeetsSustainability campaign.

The new facility is expected to encourage more people to switch to EVs to slash carbon emissions in urban areas.
