Jakarta. el Hotel Jakarta, in collaboration with Ohana Enterprise, held a free public event focused on wedding planning on Saturday.

The exhibition, titled Ohana Wedding Open House, was designed to help engaged couples organize their special day more easily, said Mariana, Director of Sales at el Hotel.

“At this Wedding Open House, all the vendors couples need are available in one place. The exhibition can serve as a one-stop shop for all wedding needs,” Mariana said.

This year’s event featured 20 experienced vendors across a wide range of categories, including catering, wedding cakes, decorations, souvenirs, bridal gowns and suits, makeup services, entertainment, and photography.

Visitors were also offered a food-tasting area featuring signature menu selections from el Hotel.

To simplify bookings, the hotel introduced several wedding packages with flexible pricing tailored to customer needs.

Packages start from Rp 78 million ($4,500) for 200 guests, while other options are priced at Rp 308,000 ($17.8) per guest with a minimum of 50 invitees.

“We offer intimate wedding packages, engagement ceremonies, akad nikah (nuptials) packages, as well as large-scale celebrations. We also provide facilities for sangjit and tea pai ceremonies for Chinese-style weddings,” Mariana said.

Visitors said the event provided practical support for families preparing for weddings.

Nenny, who attended with her family, said the exhibition helped her better understand the planning process for her child’s wedding.

“This is my first experience arranging a wedding, so at first I had no idea what needed to be prepared. But thanks to a wedding fair like this, I now better understand the details of the preparations,” she said.
