Indonesians in Abu Dhabi Get Free Health Checks
Jakarta. The Indonesian Embassy in Abu Dhabi has partnered with LLH Hospital to organize free medical check-ups for Indonesians in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
The free check-up drive took place at the embassy's premises over the weekend. It was also part of the celebrations to commemorate the 50th anniversary of bilateral ties. The services also aimed to help Indonesians with limited access to healthcare facilities.
A total of 50 Indonesian citizens from various professional backgrounds participated in
the health check-up program. This initiative also followed a similar health screening program
previously conducted for the staff of the Indonesian Embassy in Abu Dhabi in April.
“Regular health check-ups are an important part of our collective efforts to prevent illness.
Through early detection, we can identify potential health issues sooner so that they can be
addressed promptly. I encourage all Indonesian citizens to always maintain their health and stay
fit while carrying out their respective work and activities abroad,” Indonesian Ambassador to UAE Judha Nugraha said.
The embassy also immediately followed up on the results of the health screenings. Based on the initial diagnosis by the medical team from LLH Hospital, two Indonesian citizens were found to require further medical examination and treatment.
The embassy facilitated coordination with the hospital to ensure that both individuals could receive adequate medical care.
The ambassador also held dialogues with the Indonesian migrant workers on the issues that they faced. Judha also recommended some possible solutions.
