Yogyakarta.  State-owned financial holding Indonesia Financial Group (IFG) used the Jogja Financial Festival 2026 to push financial literacy and insurance awareness as part of broader efforts to strengthen Indonesia’s economic resilience and public trust in the financial sector.

IFG participated in the three-day festival held from May 22-24 at Jogja Expo Center and Gadjah Mada University alongside Askrindo, Jamkrindo, Jasindo, Mandiri Inhealth, Jasa Raharja, Jasa Raharja Putera, and IFG Life.

The event featured public education and engagement programs targeting students, communities, and business players, focusing on financial management, risk protection, investment, and the role of insurance and guarantee services in daily life.

IFG Corporate Secretary Denny S. Adji said improving public understanding of financial services is key to building stronger economic resilience and supporting the long-term sustainability of Indonesia’s financial industry.

“IFG and its holding members continue to strengthen our commitment to improving financial inclusion and literacy, particularly in the insurance, guarantee, and investment sectors. We believe better public understanding of financial management and risk protection will positively contribute to economic resilience and the sustainability of the national financial services industry,” Denny said.

He added that IFG’s value creation strategy extends beyond financial performance and also emphasizes environmental, social, and governance (ESG) contributions as part of efforts to build a healthier, more inclusive, and sustainable financial industry.

“Going forward, one of the values we want to continue promoting is how IFG can support the insurance and guarantee industry as it undergoes reforms to create a more credible business climate and practices that deliver tangible benefits to the wider public,” he said.

Jogja Financial Festival 2026 was organized to improve public awareness of smart and secure financial management while helping maintain confidence in the national financial system.

The event, hosted by Transmedia alongside financial institutions and regulators, was supported by the Yogyakarta provincial administration, UGM, and players from the banking, capital market, insurance, and broader financial services industries.

Through its participation in the festival, IFG said it aims to increase public awareness of financial protection, risk mitigation, and long-term financial planning to help create a more inclusive, resilient, and sustainable financial ecosystem in Indonesia.
