Jakarta. State-owned bank BRI will launch an FC Barcelona special edition debit card this weekend.

The launch of BRI Debit FC Barcelona will take place at Kota Kasablanka Mall in Jakarta on Saturday. BRI also invites FC Barcelona legend Frank de Boer to attend the event.

The debit card will have an FC Barcelona-themed design. It will come with a prize draw program, including a trip to Spain to watch a live FC Barcelona match on Camp Nou on Spotify, a visit to the club museum, a meet-and-greet with a Barça Legend in Indonesia, as well as various exclusive FC Barcelona merchandise and special discounts for Culers Premium Membership.

This special edition debit card is available to customers who have at least Rp 10 million (fresh funds) held in their savings accounts for three months. This program is open for both top-up customers and those who have just started saving. The BRI Debit FC Barcelona program is available at all BRI branches, BRImo, and through exhibition booths in select areas.

"FC Barcelona has a huge fan base in Indonesia, which BRI sees as potential to build closer relationships with customers. Collaboration with a global brand like FC Barcelona aligns with BRI's rebranding, which emphasizes BRI's positioning as a modern, inclusive, and customer-experience-oriented bank. We hope this will have a positive impact on the company's low-cost funds [CASA] growth strategy," BRI Network and Retail Funding Director Aquarius Rudianto said.

FC Barcelona Managing Director Manel del Río stated that the partnership with BRI reflects the club's commitment to expanding strategic collaboration in the Asia Pacific region.

"It is an honor for us to welcome BRI as a new partner of FC Barcelona. The Asia Pacific region is a strategic region for the Club, with a vast global fan base, where we continuously strive to create synergies and strengthen fan connections. Through several products, this partnership will continue to promote the FC Barcelona brand globally and establish relevant connections with new audiences in Indonesia," he said.

By the end of September 2025, BRI's funding performance showed a positive trend in line with its strategy to strengthen its low-cost funding base. On a consolidated basis, BRI's third-party funds grew 8.2% year-on-year (yoy) to Rp 1,474.8 trillion. Fund quality also showed significant improvement, with the portion of current account savings accounts (CASA) increasing to 67.6% of total third-party funds. CASA rose 14.1% yoy, backed by a 24.5% yoy increase in current accounts and a 7.2% yoy growth in savings accounts.
