BNI Xpora Helps Gorontalo MSMEs Tap Global Markets
Jakarta. BNI Xpora is helping small businesses in Gorontalo to enter foreign markets.
BNI Xpora is BNI's flagship export program, dedicated to supporting Indonesian micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs). The BNI Xpora recently held a training session for the Gorontalo Export Community (KEG). According to BNI Commercial Banking Director Muhammad Iqbal, the initiative aims to help businesses better understand international regulations and requirements so they can tap into global markets.
"BNI continues to strengthen its focus on export development as a primary strategy to encourage MSMEs to upgrade through training, mentoring, and export-oriented financing support," Iqbal was quoted as saying in a press statement.
The training session offered local entrepreneurs some market intelligence and global marketing strategies. They also learnt more about the Xpora program.
KEG has become a key platform for fostering export-oriented MSEs. Some of its members have also participated in an international exhibition in Tokyo in September, thus reflecting the potential of Gorontalo MSMEs for the global market.
BNI considers this program a strategic step to strengthen the competitiveness of Gorontalo MSMEs, enabling them to become more productive and expand their market reach to the international level.
According to Iqbal, BNI remains committed to driving economic growth by strengthening MSMEs' business capacity, expanding access to financing, and developing a global marketing network. The Xpora ecosystem is expected to not only boost the MSMEs' export volume but also help MSMEs thrive in the global market.
