Jakarta. The upcoming BNI Investor Daily Summit will spotlight the circular economy, a system focused on reuse, recycling, and refurbishment on an industrial scale to eliminate waste, ensure sustainable business practices, and protect the environment.

Indonesia has significant potential to emerge as a global leader in the circular economy. The government is actively implementing measures to embrace this growing trend, which offers a range of benefits, including environmental preservation, social welfare improvement, and cost reduction across economic activities.

Experts believe that the circular economy could help Indonesia reduce its dependence on natural resources, generate new employment opportunities, promote sustainable economic growth, and alleviate the challenges posed by industrial waste.

President Joko Widodo is scheduled to open the BNI Investor Daily Summit at the Jakarta Convention Center on Tuesday. The summit, themed "Accelerating Resilient Growth," will run for two days.

While macroeconomic issues will dominate the event, various sessions will focus on more specific topics, including the future of the mining industry and the challenges facing the hospitality sector.
