Jakarta. The National Nutrition Agency (BGN) recently said that it would prepare trauma recovery for the victims after one of its logistics vehicles struck elementary school students and a teacher in North Jakarta on Thursday.

"Thank God, all the victims have received the best care. Those treated at Koja Hospital and Cilincing Hospital will be placed in the best treatment rooms. We have approached the parents with empathy," BGN's Deputy Head for Nutrition Procurement Operations, Sony Sanjaya said.

The Jakarta Metropolitan Police is currently handling the case. BGN said they were ready to support the legal process in accordance with applicable regulations. BGN also plans to conduct trauma healing for students psychologically affected by the incident.

BGN is also conducting a review of the operational mechanisms of the vehicles used in the logistics distribution. This is to make sure that all aspects meet the standards, including the procedure for replacing drivers in the event of the primary driver's absence.

"This is a valuable lesson for all of us: in contingency situations, we must all act quickly and coordinate," Sony said.
