Jakarta. Digital Bank Raya, part of the BRI Group, is set to celebrate the spirit of active living and financial innovation through Raya Run 2025, a community-driven running event scheduled for October 26 in Surabaya.

The event, featuring 5K and 10K categories, has received an enthusiastic response since registration opened to the public several weeks ago, drawing thousands of runners eager to join the race.

“We truly appreciate the strong enthusiasm for Raya Run 2025,” said Kicky Andrie Davetra, Business Director of Bank Raya. “We want participants not only to enjoy a clean and well-organized Surabaya but also to experience digital transactions through the Raya App as part of their lifestyle.”

Ahead of race day, Bank Raya has hosted a series of Warm-Up Series and Community Connect activities throughout September and October, including running clinics, fitness sessions, and talk shows with local communities and experts. These initiatives aim to foster engagement with runners and introduce Bank Raya’s digital banking solutions tailored for today’s generation.

Participants can enjoy discounts of Rp 20,000 when paying via Bank Raya’s QRIS, or Rp 50,000 with the Raya Digital Debit Visa, while supplies last.

This year’s event offers total prizes worth over Rp 100 million across Male Open, Male Master, Female Open, and Female Master categories for both distances.

The race will start at Surabaya City Hall, taking runners past the city’s landmarks such as Monumen Kapal Selam, Taman Apsari, and Tugu Pahlawan. The route features water stations, medical support, and a dedicated race village to ensure participants’ comfort.

Adding to the digital experience, Bank Raya enables runners and visitors to make cashless transactions during the event. Eighteen SMEs and thirteen community partners will participate, offering products and refreshments purchasable via the Raya Digital Debit Visa or QRIS.

Runners can also enjoy cashback rewards Rp 50,000 for event registration paid via the Digital Debit Visa and Rp 20,000 for QRIS payments using promo codes RAYAQRIS10K and RAYAQRIS5K.

As of June 2025, the Raya App has recorded over 1.05 million users, with transaction volume rising 42.7 percent year-on-year to 2.1 million transactions. Digital savings grew 66.6 percent year on year to Rp 1.5 trillion ($90 million), reflecting strong momentum in Bank Raya’s digital ecosystem.

“Bank Raya remains committed to driving digital business growth and expanding service reach. We hope Raya Run 2025 will not only be successful and safe but also create lasting memories for all runners and partners,” Kicky concluded.
