Jakarta. President Joko "Jokowi" Widodo departed for Singapore on Wednesday to attend the regional conference "Ecosperity Week 2023" in which he will promote the development of the Nusantara Capital City, before continuing his trip to Malaysia later in the day.
"This conference will be attended by many investors, academics, and government officials, and I will use this opportunity to promote investment, especially in the energy transition sector, green infrastructure, and the development of the Nusantara Capital City," Jokowi said at Halim Perdanakusuma Airport in Jakarta.
The Ecosperity Week 2023 in Singapore, with the theme "Breakthroughs for Net Zero," will bring together global business leaders, policymakers, investors, and civil society from various industries to discuss high-impact technologies, policies, and financial support in bringing transformative breakthroughs for businesses, communities, and the planet.
