215th Bandung Berpesta: A Blend of Local MSMEs and Music for the City of Flowers
Bandung. The 215th Bandung Berpesta event was held by entertainment network BTV to entertain the public in celebration of the 215th Anniversary of Bandung City (HJKB) at the Plaza of Bandung City Hall, West Java, on Friday.
This collaboration between the Bandung City Government and B-Universe Media Holdings, the parent company of BTV, is set to present spectacular entertainment for residents.
Hundreds of people and civil servants from the Bandung City Government enthusiastically hunted for food, drinks, and souvenirs at dozens of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) booths featured at BTV’s 215th Bandung Berpesta.
A Bandung resident, Cucun Rumiyati, said she deliberately came to Bandung City Hall to attend the 215th Bandung Berpesta event and enjoy the culinary offerings.
“My impression of this event is very positive, by joining the activities here. The atmosphere is also enjoyable,” she said.
Cucun hopes that BTV’s 215th Bandung Berpesta, which combines MSME exhibitions and music concerts, can become an annual event for the community.
“My hope is that events like this can be scheduled every year to entertain the public,” she added.
In addition to showcasing dozens of local MSMEs fostered by the Bandung City Government, the 215th Bandung Berpesta will also feature performances by top Indonesian bands such as Rif and Setia Band.
For the past week, the organizing committee of BTV’s 215th Bandung Berpesta has been carefully preparing the grand event. One of the committee members, Resa Pratama, said that the preparations were complete and would feature performances from leading bands.
“This event is enlivened by several bands such as The Polpra, Rif, and Setia Band,” said Resa Pratama on Thursday.
Not only music concerts, the event will also be enlivened by 30 local MSMEs fostered by the Bandung City Government. They will showcase Bandung’s signature culinary delights as well as creative handicrafts.
“Local MSMEs will provide Bandung’s signature culinary treats to delight the community,” he explained.
The 215th Bandung Berpesta is scheduled to be officially opened by Bandung Mayor Muhammad Farhan. The public is encouraged to attend to enjoy the entertainment while supporting local MSMEs.
