Jakarta. Saudi soft-drink brand Kinza is targeting Indonesia and Malaysia as part of its expansion into Southeast Asia, seeking local manufacturing and distribution partners as it grows beyond its home market.

The company plans to use the Malaysia International Halal Showcase (MIHAS) 2026 in Kuala Lumpur from Sept. 23 to 26 to meet potential partners in Indonesia, Malaysia and other Southeast Asian markets.

Kinza, which manufactures its beverages in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, said it is looking at partnerships covering manufacturing, distribution, retail, foodservice and e-commerce. It is also considering contract manufacturing and other industrial partnerships in Indonesia.

“Malaysia and Indonesia each offer distinct and compelling opportunities, and both are central to Kinza’s Southeast Asia strategy,” Kinza founder Bandar Okrin said in a statement.

Kinza said local manufacturing would help reduce supply lead times and logistics costs while allowing the company to adjust product sizes, pricing and product offerings to local demand. Its Jeddah facilities would remain an important production and export base.

The company has expanded its products to 75 markets across five continents since its launch. Its portfolio includes cola, lemon, orange, citrus, blackcurrant and pomegranate-flavored soft drinks, as well as zero-sugar products, soda water and energy drinks.

Kinza said it sees potential for its cola and zero-sugar products in Southeast Asia, while also planning to introduce other flavors based on local consumer preferences.

In Indonesia, the company plans to focus on retail chains, independent stores, foodservice and e-commerce. In Malaysia, it is targeting retail chains, convenience stores, foodservice and e-commerce.

The company is also seeking to build its international profile through sports sponsorships, including partnerships with the Spanish Super Cup, French Super Cup and FIBA West Asia Super League.

Kinza said it sees Indonesia and Malaysia as potential bases for wider expansion across Southeast Asia. It is also exploring opportunities in South and Central Asia as part of its broader international growth strategy.
