RANS Entertainment Director Resigns Weeks After IPO
Jakarta. RANS Entertainment Indonesia (RANS), the media and entertainment company affiliated with celebrity entrepreneur Raffi Ahmad, said one of its directors has resigned less than a month after the company made its stock market debut.
The company said it received a resignation letter from director Grandy Prajayakti on July 22, with the resignation submitted for personal reasons.
"The resignation was submitted for personal reasons," Finance Director Rumunggu Yokonapita said in a stock exchange filing released on Saturday.
RANS said it will convene a shareholders' meeting to seek approval for Prajayakti's resignation, in accordance with Indonesian corporate governance requirements.
The move comes shortly after RANS listed its shares on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) on July 10.
