Pizza Hut Indonesia Returns to Rp 24 Billion Profit After 2024 Loss

Jakarta. Sarimelati Kencana (PZZA), the operator of Pizza Hut restaurants in Indonesia, returned to profitability in 2025, posting a net profit of Rp 24.75 billion ($1.5 million) after a loss of Rp 72.83 billion ($4.3 million) a year earlier.

The turnaround was supported by a stronger sales performance, according to the company’s latest financial statement.

Net sales rose to Rp 3.05 trillion ($179.4 million) in 2025, up from Rp 2.79 trillion in 2024. Revenue was primarily driven by food sales, which contributed Rp 2.88 trillion, while beverage sales accounted for Rp 171.93 billion.

Cost of goods sold increased to Rp 918.52 billion from Rp 865.61 billion. However, gross profit improved to Rp 2.13 trillion from Rp 1.93 trillion, reflecting stronger operating performance.

On the balance sheet, total assets stood at Rp 1.92 trillion, down from Rp 2.13 trillion in the previous year. Liabilities declined to Rp 894.62 billion from Rp 1.11 trillion, while equity edged up to Rp 1.03 trillion from Rp 1.01 trillion.

The results highlight a recovery in the company’s financial position, supported by revenue growth and improved cost management.
