Pertamina Geothermal Allocates $30 Million for Dividend Payout
Jakarta. Energy company Pertamina Geothermal Energy will pay its shareholders $30 million in dividends – equivalent to Rp 10.87 per share – following a recent shareholders’ meeting.
Pertamina Geothermal, a subsidiary of state-own oil company Pertamina, has disclosed earlier that the share cum dividend will be available in the regular market on June 13, while the ex-dividend date in the regular market is set on June 14.
In the cash market, the share cum dividend and the ex-dividend will be open for trading on June 15 and 16, respectively.
The deadline for shareholders' register date eligible for cash dividends is set at 4:00 p.m. Western Indonesian Time on June 15 and the dividend payment is scheduled for July 7.
According to the financial data as of Dec. 31, 2022, which underlies the dividend distribution, the portion of the net profit that can be attributed to the parent company stood at S$127.34 million.
The company also kept $57.37 million in retained earnings and declared total equity of $1.25 billion.
During Monday’s shareholders’ meeting, Julfi Hadi was been appointed as the new chief executive officer replacing Ahmad Yuniarto.
Julfi previously served as the CEO of Medco Cahaya Geothermal, a subsidiary of Medco Power Indonesia.
Shareholders also agreed on the appointment of Ahmad Yani as the director of operations.
