Nine Companies in Indonesia Stock Exchange IPO Pipeline, Healthcare Leads
Jakarta. Nine companies are currently seeking to launch initial public offerings (IPOs) on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), with healthcare businesses accounting for the largest share of prospective listings, an exchange official said over the weekend.
IDX Director of Corporate Assessment Saidu Solihin said the companies represented a range of industries and asset sizes.
"As of now, nine companies are in the IDX listing pipeline," Saidu said in a statement.
Of the nine prospective issuers, three have assets exceeding Rp 250 billion ($13.8 million), while five fall into the medium-sized category, with assets ranging from Rp 50 billion to Rp 250 billion.
The remaining company has assets of less than Rp 50 billion.
By sector, healthcare accounts for four companies in the pipeline, followed by energy and basic materials with two each. The financial sector accounts for the remaining company.
So far in 2026, seven companies have completed IPOs on the IDX, raising a combined Rp 2.16 trillion ($119.6 million).
The exchange currently has 963 listed companies and aims to increase that number to 1,100 by 2030.
Bond Issuance and Rights Issues
Beyond equity listings, Indonesian companies have continued raising capital through debt securities and sukuk, or Islamic bonds.
As of Oct. 23, 2026, the IDX had recorded 149 debt securities and sukuk issuances by 66 issuers, raising a combined Rp 151.95 trillion.
Another 25 issuances from 16 issuers remained in the pipeline as of the same date.
Meanwhile, 16 listed companies had completed rights issues, raising a total of Rp 37.35 trillion by Oct. 23.
The figures illustrate continued corporate fundraising activity across Indonesia's capital markets, even as the number of new stock market listings remains relatively modest.
