Mandiri Posts Rp 8.9 Trillion Profit as of February
Jakarta. Bank Mandiri reported solid financial performance in the early months of 2026, posting a net profit of Rp 8.9 trillion ($527.18 million) as of February, up 16.7% year-on-year, supported by rising digital transactions and steady credit expansion.
Finance and Strategy Director Novita Widya Anggraini said the profit growth was largely driven by increasing public use of digital banking services, particularly the Livin’ by Mandiri application, which helped boost the bank’s fee-based income.
Between January and February 2026, transactions through Livin’ by Mandiri surpassed 738.7 million, marking a 28% year-on-year increase.
As digital service usage climbed, fee-based income from the bank’s platforms also expanded. Revenue generated from Livin’ by Mandiri reached Rp 625 billion, up 45.3% year-on-year, while the wholesale banking platform Kopra by Mandiri contributed Rp 421 billion, growing 29.3% year-on-year.
Meanwhile, net interest income stood at Rp 13.7 trillion, increasing 9.16% year-on-year. The bank said the performance was supported by continued loan growth and rising customer transaction activity across its digital banking channels.
As of February 2026, Bank Mandiri’s total outstanding loans reached Rp 1,513.1 trillion, rising 15.7% year-on-year. Third-party funds (DPK) also recorded strong growth, increasing 16.3% year-on-year to Rp 1,644.8 trillion.
The bank noted that strong customer transaction activity helped strengthen the share of low-cost transaction-based deposits, supporting efficiency in interest expenses.
Operational efficiency also improved. Bank Mandiri’s cost-to-income ratio declined to 37.21%, reflecting better cost management and higher business productivity. Asset quality remained solid, with the non-performing loan ratio at 0.98%, supported by a strong coverage ratio of 246.5%.
According to the bank, the figures reflect prudent lending practices and consistent strengthening of risk management. With solid business fundamentals, Bank Mandiri said it remains optimistic about maintaining its growth momentum.
Novita added that the bank will continue strengthening integrated synergies across its business lines to accelerate sustainable growth while enhancing its competitiveness.
The strategy is also aligned with Bank Mandiri’s role as a strategic partner of the government in supporting the development of Indonesia’s national economic ecosystem.
