Indonesia Raises Rp 32 Trillion in Government Bond Auction
Jakarta. Indonesia raised Rp 32 trillion ($1.8 billion) through an auction of nine series of government securities on Tuesday after attracting Rp 70.72 trillion in investor bids, underscoring continued demand for the country's sovereign debt.
"The finance minister has approved total awards of Rp 32 trillion across the nine securities offered," the Finance Ministry's Directorate General of Financing and Risk Management said in a statement on Wednesday.
The auction included three Treasury bills (SPN) and six fixed-rate (FR) bonds with maturities ranging from September 2026 to July 2064.
Among the securities offered, the newly issued FR0110 attracted the strongest investor interest, receiving Rp 34.49 trillion in bids and accounting for the largest allocation at Rp 15.8 trillion. The bond carries a maturity date of May 15, 2032, and was awarded at a weighted average yield of 7.29%.
The government also issued two new Treasury bill series and reopened several existing Treasury bills and fixed-rate bonds across the yield curve, with weighted average yields ranging from 6.89% for the shortest-dated Treasury bill to 7.39% for the longest-maturity bond.
