Apindo, Ministers Hail Investor Daily Summit for Advancing Investment Talks
October 9, 2025 | 11:31 am
Jakarta. The 2025 Investor Daily Summit (IDS) has drawn praise from both business and government leaders for its role in strengthening public-private collaboration and highlighting Indonesia’s investment prospects.
Indonesian Employers Association (Apindo) Chairwoman Shinta Kamdani said the annual event by B-Universe has become a vital platform for business players to exchange insights and build partnerships with the government.
“We appreciate that every year Investor Daily holds this summit,” Shinta said during the IDS 2025 at the Jakarta International Convention Center (JCC), Senayan, on Wednesday. “It provides a valuable space for business leaders and policymakers to meet and explore opportunities.”
Shinta also noted the growing importance of Danantara, Indonesia’s new sovereign wealth fund led by Investment and Downstreaming Minister Rosan Roeslani, saying it could open new avenues for collaboration between the private sector and the government.
“I believe private enterprises can work hand in hand with Danantara to unlock Indonesia’s vast project potential,” she added. Shinta expressed hope that IDS would continue to foster dialogue on the country’s investment climate while supporting the government’s efforts to build a more inclusive economy.
“Investor Daily has done a great job amplifying the government’s economic vision. We will continue to support this summit and wish it continued success,” she said.
On the same occasion, Rosan Roeslani also echoed the summit as an essential platform for the government to communicate its strategic policies and economic plans to the public.
“This event allows us to explain future policies and strategies that will positively impact Indonesia’s economy as a whole,” Rosan said.
He added that the government remains focused on addressing existing challenges in the investment landscape, including the need for internal reforms and efforts to attract high-quality investments.
Now in its fourth edition since its debut in 2022, the Investor Daily Summit has grown into one of Indonesia’s premier economic forums. The two-day event, themed “New Economic Order,” reflects the country’s response to the rapidly shifting global economic and political landscape.
Held on October 8–9, 2025, the summit brings together leading business figures, investors, academics, and policymakers to discuss Indonesia’s economic direction under the new administration.
