Alfamart Books $7.5 Billion Revenue in 2025
Jakarta. Retail giant Sumber Alfaria Trijaya (IDX: AMRT), popularly known as Alfamart, booked solid top-line growth in 2025, but margin pressures persisted as rising costs continued to weigh on profitability.
Alfamart operator reported net revenue of Rp 126.73 trillion ($7.46 billion) in 2025, up more than 7% from Rp 118.22 trillion in the previous year, according to its latest annual report.
Cost pressures remained evident, with cost of goods sold rising to Rp 98.98 trillion from Rp 92.86 trillion in 2024. As a result, gross profit stood at Rp 27.75 trillion, up from Rp 25.36 trillion a year earlier.
Selling and distribution expenses reached Rp 21.96 trillion, while general and administrative expenses amounted to Rp 2.43 trillion. The company also recorded other income of Rp 1.33 trillion and other expenses of Rp 126 billion, bringing operating profit to Rp 4.56 trillion, up from Rp 4.07 trillion in 2024.
Net profit attributable to owners of the parent entity rose 8.34% to Rp 3.41 trillion in 2025, compared with Rp 3.14 trillion a year earlier.
Earnings per share increased to Rp 82.16 as of Dec. 31, 2025, from Rp 75.81 in the same period last year.
As of year-end, the company recorded total assets of Rp 42.57 trillion, with liabilities at Rp 23.19 trillion and equity at Rp 19.38 trillion.
As of Mar. 27 at 2:24 p.m. Jakarta time, shares of AMRT were trading at Rp 1,425, down 2.40% at the time of writing and still hovering in the Rp 1,000 range. The stock has fallen 24.20% over the past six months.
