The Big Quran
It requires at least two men to flip the pages of a giant Quran kept at the Baiturrahman Mosque in Banyuwangi, East Java. The big Quran is 210 centimeters high and 142 centimeters wide. It took local artist Abdul Karim ten years to write and illustrate each page by hand. People come to the mosque from all over East Java to read the big Quran during Ramadan.
