Beautiful Balikpapan Bay will be one of the gateways to Indonesia's new capital in North Penajam Paser, East Kalimantan, set to be completed in 2024. The bay has an 80-kilometer coastline and is up to 7-kilometer deep at some points, allowing for larger boats to go quite far inland.
