YABN Receives Award for Helping Combat Stunting
Jakarta. Yayasan Amanah Bangun Negeri or YABN foundation recently received the Gold Award for the 2025 GENTING in the private sector category.
GENTING stands for "Gerakan Orang Tua Asuh Cegah Stunting". As the name suggests, the campaign amasses foster parent support to combat stunting. Family Development Minister Wihaji handed over the award at the 2025 GENTING Collaboration Summit (GCS) in Jakarta on Wednesday.
The 2025 GSCS recognizes the pentahelix partners who have supported the GENTING Program.
Since 2023, YABN has been implementing an integrated stunting program with coal miner Adaro and AlamTri Group to prevent stunting early in its operational area, Tabalong Regency, South Kalimantan.
"Our program focuses on stunting management, specifically providing needs for babies in their first 1,000 days. YABN also provides nutritional aid for toddlers, pregnant women with special needs, and toddlers with special needs. They have also provided family nutrition education, medical support, and capacity building for cadres," YABN board member Susanti said.
YABN plans to continue to make real contributions in line with government programs. It also seeks to create value for the community through social initiatives in the education, health, economy, environment, and socio-cultural sectors.
