Volex Indonesia Thanks BP Batam for Facilitating Expansion
Jakarta. Electronics component manufacturer Volex Indonesia recently thanked BP Batam for helping facilitate its recent expansion.
Volex Indonesia launched its third building at the Sekupang Industrial Park over the weekend. President-Elect Prabowo Subianto and BP Batam head Muhammad Rudi attended the ceremony.
According to the regional general manager at Volex (Asia) Tan Chiang Pheng, the company is hoping that the increased capacity and new technologies can help boost its contribution to the Batam economy. Volex also thanked BP Batam for the agency’s help to businesses who wish to invest in the region.
“We would like to thank BP Batam for supporting our expansion by facilitating the licenses until we were able to launch this new building,” Tan Chiang Pheng was quoted as saying in a recent press statement.
Muhammad Rudi said BP Batam was committed to facilitating investments. “To maintain Batam’s investment climate, we will always support all sorts of positive investments that would enter this region. Hopefully, as investments in Batam grow, this will also lead to economic growth and better prosperity for the people of Batam,” Muhammad Rudi said.
