Jakarta. Teras by Plataran will open at Pondok Indah Mall 2 in Jakarta this Sunday.

According to Plataran Indonesia’s CEO and founder Yozua Makes, the restaurant will offer a plethora of Indonesian and Asian dishes in a relaxing setting.

“Teras by Plataran is Plataran’s second line of venue and dining. Despite being second-line, Teras by Plataran’s quality of the products and services meet Plataran’s standards: five stars,” Yozua said.

The expansion to PIM 2 is part of the Plataran Goes to Malls program. As the name suggests, Plataran seeks to bring its culinary experience closer to the people of Jakarta and the surrounding areas by setting up restaurants in shopping centers.

Teras by Plataran adopts the tagline “casual soulful eatery”. Diners can enjoy an array of tasty, five-starred dishes served warm, simple, and homey -- all offered at an affordable price. Despite being in a shopping center, the chic eatery is also suitable for celebrations and mini-events such as birthdays or gatherings.

Teras by Plataran is the extension of Teras Dharmawangsa at Dharmawangsa Square, Kebayoran Baru. Teras Dharmawangsa boasts an array of traditional Indonesian, Asian, as well as international dishes. The restaurant offers a homey feel that can spark some nostalgic feels, but still with a touch of modernity.

Teras by Plataran will open at Bintaro Xchange Mall 2 on Dec. 15. It will also expand to Summarecon Bogor early next year.

Teras Dharmawangsa has also received awards, among others, the 2023 Best Casual Dining award at the Exquisite Awards.
