Jakarta. After a year-long renovation, SKYE is set to reopen early this December with a renewed spirit and refined personality, reimagining how people connect, celebrate, and indulge above the skyline. 

Perched atop Menara BCA Level 56, SKYE offers indoor dining and outdoor lounge, both surrounded by the breathtaking views of the Sudirman-Thamrin skyline. Since its debut in 2012, SKYE has been Ismaya Group’s flagship lifestyle concept that shaped Jakarta’s social scene as the go-to place for celebrations, gatherings, and world-class entertainment -- a place where people come together to experience and see the city from above. 

“We wanted SKYE to be a must-visit destination in Jakarta that feels both nostalgic and exciting. A place where both citizens and visitors come together over a great meal, a celebration, or simply a moment to remember,” said Anggun Melati, Senior VP Marketing of Ismaya Group.

“With this reopening, we’re not only revitalizing a venue, but reigniting a cultural icon of Jakarta”. 

Ismaya Group assembled a team of executive chefs with diverse expertise to reimagine SKYE’s culinary offering, turning hearty, familiar dishes into refined creations designed for sharing and celebration.

SKYE returns with its signature Western Contemporary Grill concept -- featuring fresh and dry-aged prime cuts, grilled and smoked to perfection.

A highlight of the new menu is Sir Harry Wagyu Orange-Fed Beef, sourced from Australian-bred cattle organically fed with locally grown grains and citrus pulp, giving the meat a delicate orange tone and rich depth of flavor.

Designed by Willis Kusuma, one of Indonesia’s most respected architects and interior designers, the new SKYE moves away from formality toward a more refined and intentional aesthetic, one that values quality and artistry over excess. The interiors combine warm materials, natural textures, and clean modern lines, creating a sleek yet effortless appeal. The design philosophy centers on spaces made not to impress, but to embrace -- more welcoming, less about opulence, and rooted in authenticity and artistic expression.

The venue offers both indoor and outdoor areas, two bars, two private rooms, and full event support, making it a sought-after destination for everything from intimate dinners to large-scale celebrations.

“We’ve honed in on every detail, from the plating and playlists to performances, to create an experience that feels truly special. We want guests to walk in and immediately feel part of something meaningful, surrounded by the city, its energy, and the people who make it so alive," Anggun said.

Long recognized as a stage for international DJs and artists, the SKYE Lounge will also revive its signature event and entertainment programming, once again becoming a stage for global talents and electrifying performances.
