Jakarta. Permodalan Nasional Madani (PNM) vows to build the country as the company celebrates its 25th anniversary.

The company has launched what it calls the PNM Peduli ('PNM Cares') which target educational, environmental, and social aspects. This is in line with its silver anniversary theme of: "Continuing to Grow to Build Hope."

Across its 62 branches, PNM Peduli invites customers and employees to care for each other. In the educational and environmental aspects, the company, which focuses on ultra-micro empowerment, provides literacy on the importance of preserving the sea and invites local communities to plant mangroves and build drilled wells for the local villages.

PNM also distributed assistance through places of worship. The company has also provided aid to help disaster victims and conducted free health checks for PNM Mekaar customers.

PNM's president director Arief Mulyadi told PNM employees to help those in need.

"Silver is a metal with a charming shine. This means that at this age we are not the only ones who have to shine but also help encourage life around us to shine," Arief said.

PNM is also helping its customers to grow their businesses by joining the "Bangga Buatan Indonesia" and "Bangga Berwisata Indonesia" --two campaigns aiming at promoting domestic goods and tourist destinations-- in Palembang alongside the Financial Services Authority (OJK).

PNM is a financing institution for underprivileged women in Indonesia. These initiatives prove that the company has helped provide not only financial capital but also training for their customers to improve their product quality. There are currently 15.2 million PNM customers who receive this training.
