Pekan Halal Indonesia Introduces QRIS Soundbox iFortepay
Jakarta. Indonesia Halal Week or Pekan Halal Indonesia 2026 saw the launch of the QRIS Soundbox iFortepay.
This payment innovation integrates QRIS payments with voice notifications to confirm transactions, making it easier for the halal enterprises in the event to keep track of the transactions.
Held on August 28-30, Pekan Halal Indonesia 2026 features various sectors of the halal ecosystem, ranging from modest fashion, culinary arts to even halal travel. The event, which takes place at the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC), also adopts a hybrid business-to-consumer and business-to-business concept. iFortepay is the event's official payment partner.
“We need to look at the current landscape, where QRIS has become a key digital payment method in Indonesia, impacting numerous sectors. Billions of transactions are now taking place, and the number of micro-enterprises registered with QRIS continues to grow,” iForte Payment Infrastructure president director and CEO Valerino Wijaya said.
The QRIS Soundbox iFortepay eliminates the manual payment confirmation process, which has historically slowed down transactions, particularly during checkout queues.
Thanks to instant audio confirmation, merchants no longer need to ask consumers to show proof of payment via screenshots or perform repetitive manual checks.
Visitors can also participate in various activities at the iFortepay booth and win prizes and merchandise throughout the exhibition.
