Jakarta. Marketing + Media Alliance (MMA) Indonesia will host MMA IMPACT Indonesia 2026 on Thursday, Nov. 5, at The Ritz-Carlton Mega Kuningan in Jakarta, bringing together the country's senior business leaders, including chairpersons, C-level executives, directors, business owners, founders, co-founders and other decision-makers.

Now in its second decade, this year's forum centers on the theme “Advancing Marketers’ Ability to Create Value,” reflecting MMA's vision of strengthening marketing's role in driving business value.

Indonesia's advertising market is entering a sustained growth phase, with advertising revenue projected to reach $18.9 billion by 2030, representing a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of more than 8%. Digital advertising is leading the expansion, growing from $10.7 billion to $16.8 billion over the past few years at a 9.4% CAGR. Digital channels are expected to account for nearly 90% of the market by the end of the decade.

Against this backdrop, the forum will feature 14 sessions examining the disciplines shaping how marketing creates, measures and sustains value. The program positions marketing and advertising as engines of business growth rather than support functions, with each session designed to equip leaders with practical frameworks they can apply within their organizations, drawing on evidence-based insights and industry expertise.

Rooted in the conviction that genuine human experiences build lasting brand meaning in an increasingly digital and creative landscape, the forum will welcome Irene Umar, Vice Minister of Creative Economy and Deputy Head of the Creative Economy Agency of the Republic of Indonesia, as its guest of honor.

In her keynote, “The Power of Human Storytelling in a World Hungry for Meaning,” she will share strategic insights on why stories grounded in real human experiences remain a lasting source of brand meaning, customer loyalty and growth amid the proliferation of algorithmic and AI-generated content.

Greg Stuart, Chief Executive Officer of MMA Global, will also visit Indonesia from New York, marking another milestone in the organization's engagement with the country's marketing industry since establishing its Indonesia chapter in 2018.

In his opening keynote, “The Age of Opinion in Marketing Is Ending,” Stuart will argue that data intelligence, behavioral science and predictive analytics are replacing instinct as the foundation of marketing decisions, reshaping how marketing leaders create and defend business value.

“Strong marketing leadership starts with understanding how customers actually behave and using that evidence to anticipate what will drive growth next. Indonesia’s CEOs and CMOs are bringing data intelligence and behavioral insight into their most important decisions, creating value they can explain, repeat and scale. As this discipline takes hold across the region, Indonesia’s experience offers useful perspective to markets around the world,” Stuart said.

Sutanto Hartono, Chairperson of MMA Indonesia, said marketing leaders must position marketing as a driver of enterprise value while building the capabilities and credibility to deliver it consistently.

“The leaders who shape the next chapter of our industry will be those who treat marketing as a driver of enterprise value and build the capabilities and credibility to deliver it consistently. Innovation across media, digital platforms and commerce has shown us that lasting value comes from bringing technology, creativity and consumer trust together in every business decision. We aim to take Indonesia to a higher level with this in mind,” Hartono said.

Shanti Tolani, Country Head and Board Director of MMA Indonesia, highlighted the ability of the country's marketing leaders to turn innovation into stronger consumer relationships and sustainable business growth.

“Indonesia’s marketing leaders have a remarkable ability to translate innovative ideas into deeper consumer connections and sustainable business growth, creating lasting value for the industry. Their achievements deserve global recognition. We are grateful to the experts who have come together to share the insights, experiences and lessons behind their success, helping others turn ambition into impact,” Tolani said.

MMA IMPACT Indonesia 2026 will take place on Nov. 5, offering marketing leaders an opportunity to challenge assumptions with evidence, exchange insights with industry peers and strengthen their understanding of the value marketing can deliver to businesses.
