Mitsubishi Fuso Earns Top Brand 100 Award, Books 39.9% Market Share

Jakarta. Mitsubishi Fuso distributor Krama Yudha Tiga Berlian Motors (KTB) recently won the Top Brand 100 Award 2026 in the commercial vehicle category as it maintained a strong position in the market share.

KTB is the official distributor of Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation commercial vehicles in Indonesia. This reflects Mitsubishi Fuso's strong position in the minds of Indonesian commercial vehicle consumers.

"This achievement aligns with Mitsubishi Fuso's success in maintaining its position as the market leader in commercial vehicles throughout 2025. For us, this position carries a significant responsibility to continue providing real value through service quality, transparency, safety, and sustainability in the Indonesian commercial vehicle industry," General Manager of Business Communication at KTB Sudaryanto said.

The Top Brand 100 Award recognized brands with great performance in the Indonesian market based on the results of an independent consumer survey conducted by Frontier Research. Assessment is conducted using the Top Brand Index, which covers aspects of brand awareness, loyalty, and customer satisfaction.

Mitsubishi Fuso has been able to maintain its dominance as a market leader for 55 consecutive years in the commercial vehicle market. Throughout 2025, Mitsubishi Fuso achieved a market share of 39.9%, up 1.8% year-on-year (yoy). In the light-duty truck segment, Mitsubishi Fuso recorded a 55.1% market share, a 2% yoy increase.

According to 2025 GAIKINDO data, the Canter entered the Top 10 best-selling vehicle models in Indonesia. In the medium-duty truck segment, it achieved 14.4% market share, indicating a 1.1% yoy growth. This achievement also proves that Mitsubishi Fuso is a proven brand trusted by consumers in Indonesia.

"We express our deepest gratitude for the extraordinary trust of our customers, which has enabled Mitsubishi Fuso to achieve a 39.9% market share and remain the 'Absolute Number One' amidst the challenges of 2025," KTB sales and marketing director Aji Jaya said.

The company is preparing various new initiatives specifically designed to provide maximum benefits to its customers throughout this year.

"We are not just selling vehicles, but ensuring that each unit is a reliable business solution supported by more effective and integrated after-sales services," he said.

Mitsubishi Fuso is further optimizing its "zero downtime" function, which focuses entirely on maximizing after-sales service without downtime for its customers. Mitsubishi Fuso has seen consumer feedback that after-sales service is not merely a supporting need but a core requirement in customers' business operations. The moveis expected to provide a strong competitive advantage while solidifying its position as the number one brand in efficient commercial vehicle service.
