Jakarta. The NTT Mart, a center for locally made goods in East Nusa Tenggara, earned a thumbs-up from Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) Minister Maman Abdurrahman.

"NTT Mart is a concrete step to open market access for micro and small entrepreneurs in NTT. The goal is clear: we want to raise public awareness and support for local products," Maman said during a visit to Kupang on Wednesday.

The minister also called for collaboration between MSMEs to create a positive and sustainable business ecosystem.

"The most important thing is how the community can market their products, ensure the production process runs smoothly, and this will drive the regional economy,” Maman said.

The MSME Ministry also promised to help enterprises improve competitiveness and get certified. This includes PIRTs, the license for household food production, as well as the permit from the Food and Drug Regulatory Agency (BPOM). The certification assistance also applies for Indonesia national standard SNIs. “This way, East Nusa Tenggara’s MSMEs can level up,” Maman said.

East Nusa Tenggara Governor Emanuel Melkiades Laka Lena emphasized his commitment to pursue collaboration with the central government and other stakeholders.

"We will continue to develop what we have built through NTT Mart. We are ready to coordinate with the minister and staff, expand our business scale, expand our network, and strengthen the market for NTT products," Emanuel said.
