Jakarta. éL Hotel Group, in partnership with clinic network Intibios, hosted free health check-ups in the northern part of Kebayoran Lama, South Jakarta, on Thursday.

The free health checks are one of the group’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives. The initiative targets public facility maintenance agency workers, civil servants, as well as employees at child-friendly public spaces (RPTRA), among others. éL Hotel Group will hold free medical check-ups that will take place in 11 different locations at different times.

“Praise be to God. We are holding these free health checks for the people of the North Kebayoran Lama ward. And we would not be able to do this alone, we also got Intibios’s support. There are 50 people in each session, so there are a total of 100 people,” Dhea Alisda, corporate marketing communication at éL Hotel Group, told B Universe.

“Our hopes of course align with éL Hotel Group’s 11th anniversary theme: ‘A Decade Plus One with Accomplishment and Growth’,” Dhea said.

The program received praise from the North Kebayoran Lama village head Atmah as well as the beneficiaries. Atmah said: “I hope éL Hotel can achieve greater success. We will definitely support the idea of providing free health checks.”

Likewise, public facility maintenance agency worker Asep Purwanto said that the free health checks were helpful. “Because we get to know if we are healthy or not. Our blood sugar also gets tested. We work in dirty surroundings, so we are really grateful to see health checks,” Asep said.

Yuliani, who works at the public facility maintenance agency, also thanked éL Hotel Group’s initiative.

“We are grateful to be able to check our health conditions, blood sugar, and blood pressure. We can even test for gout. Hopefully, all public facility maintenance agency workers will remain healthy. Thank you to éL Hotel and all its partners for coming here,” Yuliani said.
