Jakarta. PT Krama Yudha Tiga Berlian Motors or PT KTB recently announced that it had donated one unit of a Mitsubishi Fuso Colt Diesel to SMK Negeri 3 Sorong, a vocational school in Southwest Papua.

PT KTB is the official distributor of commercial vehicles and spare parts for Mitsubishi Fuso Truck & Bus Corporation (MFTBC).

According to PT KTB President Director Daisuke Okamoto, this donation reflects the company's efforts to help improve the quality of education.

"We hope this technology transfer can foster the best potential of these students, who will ultimately drive the Indonesian automotive industry in the future," he said.

This marks the fourth in a series of truck donations undertaken by PT KTB throughout 2025. The last donation of practical vehicles took place on Dec. 11, 2025, at SMK Negeri 3 Ambon. The donation also took place under the KTB FUSO Vocational Education Program (KTB FUSO VEP). This program, which began in 2017, has delivered certified automotive training for vocational school teachers and students, donations of educational support equipment, and soft skills seminars to prepare students for entering the industrial world.

"We are committed to expanding the benefits of KTB's CSR programs throughout Indonesia. We want to continue to be present to accompany the Indonesian people, not only in business but also in social matters, on their path to a better life," Director of the Administration & HR Division of PT KTB Prasetio Hartono said.

PT KTB also attributed the KTB FUSO VEP's success to the support from the Mitsubishi FUSO Dealer network and Krama Yudha Tiga Berlian Motors Regional Training Center (KRTC). KTB, the dealers, as well as KRTC  aim to continue their many initiatives, including certified automotive training for students and teachers, fieldwork practices, and the provision of learning facilities.

The symbolic handover was carried out by Administration and HR Division Director Prasetio Hartono and SMK Negeri 3 Sorong Umar Singgih. Also present at the event were Saur Sitinjak, a representative from the Sorong City Education Office; Chief Operations Officer of PT Bosowa Berlian Motor Firmansyah Ichsan; Sorong Branch Manager of PT Bosowa Berlian Motor Arfan Rawuaten.
