Jakarta. Komatsu Remanufacturing Asia (KRA) recently won the 2025 TOP CSR Awards. The company took home the TOP CSR Awards  #Star 4. KRA's director Nasihin also won the TOP Leader on CSR Commitment 2025 Award.

This award recognized his leadership in placing corporate social responsibility as part of the company's strategy.

Hosting the recent award ceremony was TOP Business magazine in Jakarta.

"For us, social responsibility is not just an obligation, but part of the company's strategic foundation. CSR is a transformative force that bridges the industrial world with human values. We are present not only as an industry player but also as community partners who wish to grow and develop together. Through contributions in the fields of education, health, environmental conservation, and economic empowerment, we strive to create real, sustainable impacts," Nasihin was quoted as saying in a press statement.

KRA seeks to empower its local community in achieving a sustainable future. Its CSR programs embrace the community, accountability, and responsibility approach. It also deals with four pillars, including education, that touch on programs such as school development, scholarships, and training for teachers and students.

As of 2024, the programs have benefited over 980 students. On healthcare, KRA has set up integrated health posts, blood donation, mass circumcision, and nutrition education. It also partners with local health agencies.

On the environment, KRA's programs include mangrove conservation, adoption of sun bears, and solar power use. Last but not least is the growth of the entrepreneurship pillar. KRA mentors local micro, small and medium enterprises, including "Mawar Merah", which has built its presence in the national market.
