KB Bank & Daimler Sign Dealer Financing Partnership
Jakarta. KB Bank has signed a dealer financing partnership agreement with Daimler Commercial Vehicles Indonesia (DCVI) -- the agent for Mercedes-Benz commercial trucks and buses in Indonesia.
Dealer financing is something familiar to KB Bank. The bank has previously formed dealer financing partnerships for passenger and electric vehicle ownership. DCVI’s president director Naeem Hassim said he looked forward to working with KB Bank.
“DCVI aims to further strengthen its vision as the most sustainable commercial vehicles company with the highest customer retention and reputation in Indonesia. DCVI is always looking to offer superior products and financial services. And KB Bank as one of our strategic partners will ensure this can be achieved by continually implementing business practices that positively impact dealer partners and loyal customers,” Naeem was quoted as saying in a recent press statement.
KB Bank’s vice president director Robby Mondong said that the partnership demonstrated the bank’s commitment to contributing to sustainable economic growth.
"We are proud to contribute to supporting the Indonesian automotive industry, including commercial vehicles, by providing suitable and affordable financing facilities for DCVI dealer partners," Robby said.
This year, KB Bank targets to continue driving new credit growth by up to 25 percent, particularly in the MSME (micro, small, and medium enterprises) and retail segments, using the corporate segment as an anchor of the business ecosystem as a business strategy approach.
KB Bank's new credits also continue to demonstrate good results with healthy asset quality. IFitch Ratings recently maintained KB Bank's rating at the 'AAA' level with a stable outlook.
